Douwella’s primary goal is supporting and affirming all birth givers through their birth and postpartum journey. We strive to elevate the voices of all birth givers and assist in their ability to receive care that reflects the cultural domain through which they exist.

We believe this type of education and support can create equality in the birthing culture, particularly for Black birth givers. Understanding body literacy as a form of wellness is an integral part of our foundation, and your services will always be curated specifically for you.

Douwella exists to ensure every birth giver experiences a birthing companion who strengthens their pregnancy, labor, and postpartum care.
